"We reached out to Alex to photograph our family because his portfolio resonated with us, but we didn’t know exactly what we wanted. From the very start he took his time to hear our wishes and concerns, contributed with ideas and guided us so we could decide what would be the best approach.
We ended up opting for an at-home session on a Sunday morning because we wanted to document this period of our lives in a relaxed and authentic way and Alex did it beautifully. The weather was very challenging that day, it was rainy and dark but Alex had all the knowledge and experience to handle it. We are not used to be in front of the camera (this was the first photo session of our lives) but he clearly knows what he is doing and kept us at ease during the whole session (all with a very energetic kid playing around).
